Sacque:
Row 1. Ch 84. Dc in 6th st from hook (ch 1, sk 1, dc in next) 4 times, ch 1, sk 1, (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc) in next st, (corner made) (ch 1, sk 1, dc in next) 7 times, corner, (ch 1, sk 1, dc in next) 11 times, corner, (ch 1, sk 1, dc in next) 7 times, corner, (ch 1, sk 1, dc in next) 6 times. Ch 3, turn.
Row 2. 5 dc in base of ch 3, turn work to back. Sl st in top of ch 3 (popcorn made), turn back, (ch 1, dc in dc, ch 1, pc in next dc) 3 times, corner in next dc, repeat around. Ch 4, turn.
Row 3. Pc in dc, ch 1, dc in pc, ch 1, etc., corner in center dc of corner, repeat around.
NOTE: Pc's in this row and alternate rows will be made from back, turning work to front for sl st.
Rows 4 and 5. Same pattern.
Row 6. Make 4 pc in pattern, dc under ch 1, dc in pc, dc under ch 1, dc in dc, 5 dc in corner, and continue around, making 4 pc in pattern at opposite front.
Rows 7 and 8. Same as 6, keeping pc panels in pattern (3 in 1 row, 4 in next) dc in each dc, and 5 dc in each corner.
Row 9. 3 pc ...ch 1, dc in next pc, dc under ch 1, dc in each of 2 dc, * 2 dc in next, dc in next *, repeat across front yoke, catch corner st to lower corner of back yoke (make 2 dc in joining st), continue across back of yoke, increasing in every second st. Join corners as before and continue across other front yoke, ending 3 pc to match opposite front. (136 dc between panels).
Rows 10-15. Work even, except that even numbered rows gain 1 dc at front panel on each side.
Row 16. 4 pc---ch 1, * dc in each of 4, 2 dc in next *, repeat across.
Rows 17-25. Work even.
Row 26. Inc 1 dc in every third st.
Row 27. Work as for yoke, ---pc, ch 1, sk 1, dc ch 1, sk 1, pc, etc.
Make 3 more rows in pattern. Fasten off.
Sleeve. Join yarn at underarm, turning work in opposite direction from last row of yoke. Inc 1 dc in every fourth st around. Join. Ch 3, turn at end of each row (64 dc). Work even until sleeve measures 6 or 6 1/2 inches from underarm joining.
Cuff. Sc in first, sk 1, sc in next, sk 1, etc., (32 sc)
Row 1. Ch 4, * sk 1, pc in next, ch 1, sk 1, dc in next, ch 1 *, repeat * to * around. Join. Ch 3, turn.
Rows 2 and 3. In pattern as for yoke. Fasten off.
Bonnet. Row 1. Ch 6 and join in ring. Ch 3 for first dc, 17 dc in ring, join to top of ch 3.
Row 2. Ch 3, dc in base of ch, 2 dc in each dc, join to top of ch 3 (36 dc)
Row 3. Ch 4, * pc in next, ch 1, dc in next, ch 1 *, repeat around, join.
Row 4. Ch 4, turn, pc in dc, ch 1, dc in pc, ch 1, etc., around.
Row 5. Same as row 4, except turn and make from right side of work.
Row 6. Ch 3, dc in base of ch, * dc under ch 1, dc in pc, dc under ch 1, 2 dc in dc *, repeat around. Join. Ch 3, turn.
Rows 7-10. Ch 3, dc in each dc. Ch 3, turn.
Row 11-17. Dc over 74 dc, ch 3, turn
Row 18. Ch 4....work across neckline with * pc, ch 1, sk 1, dc, ch 1, sk 1 *, 3 dc with ch 1 between at corner front, repeat * to * across front, corner, ch 4, turn.
Row 19. In pc pattern, ch 1, turn....Sc across neckline, work 2 more rows of * pc, ch 1, sk 1, dc, ch 1, sk 1 *, 3 dc with pc pattern across front of bonnet. Fasten off.
Bootee. Begin with sole: Ch 20.
Row 1. 2 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next 15, 5 dc in next, 1 dc in each of next 15 down opposite side of ch, 2 dc in last, join to top of 3 ch.
Row 2. Ch 3, 2 dc in each of next 3, 1 dc in each of next 13, 2 dc in each of next 7, 1 dc in each of next 13, 2 dc in each of next 3, 1 dc in same st as 3 ch, join.
Row 3. Ch 3, (1 dc in next, 2 dc in next) 3 times, 1 dc in each of next 14, (2 dc in next, 1 dc in next) 7 times, 1 dc in each of next 13. (2 dc in next, 1 dc in next) 3 times, 1 dc in same st as 3 ch, join.
Row 4. 1 dc around the spoke of each dc, inserting hook from back, right to left, join.
Rows 5, 6, & 7: Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc. Join. Fasten off.
Instep: Row 1. Beginning with first st to left of center back, count on left side of shoe to 27th st. Join yarn in this st, ch 4, * sk 1, pc in next, ch 1, sk 1, dc in next, ch 1 *, repeat twice except ch 3, turn after last dc, instead of ch 1. Work 4 more rows in pattern as for yoke.
Fasten instep in shoe as follows: Catch remaining lp on hook into 15th st from center back on right side of shoe and with instep piece toward you, sc it st for st to right side of shoe, 2 sc at corner, sc across toe, inserting hook from right to left under each of the original 13 sts of instep, 2 sc at corner, sc instep and shoe tog along left side, ending in 15th st from center back (do not count 3-ch).
Beading: With toe of shoe facing you, ch 4, * sk 1, dc in next, ch 1 *, repeat * to * across instep, and around shoe, ch 1, join to third st of ch 4 (22 dc, counting ch-4).
Top: Rows 1, 2, & 3. Ch 3, dc in each st around, join to top of ch 3, turn. (44 dc).
Rows 4, 5, 6, & 7. Pattern as for yoke. Fasten off.
