Sacque: Begin at neck and Chain 75.
Row 1. Dc in 5th st from hook, (ch 1, sk 1, dc in next -- space or mesh made) 4 times, ch 1, sk 1, (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc---corner made) in next, 7 sp, corner, 10 sp, corner, 7 sp, corner, 6 sp, ch 1, turn.
Row 2. Sc in first dc, tr under ch 1, (let it fall behind work as you make sc in next dc---this is a French Knot, always made from the wrong side of work)---continue around, ending sc in dc, ch 4, turn.
Row 3. Dc in next sc, ch 1, repeat around, making (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc) in center sc at each corner. Note that these corners differ from those in Row 1.) Repeat Rows 2 and 3 three times. Repeat Row 2 once more. Drop yarn.
With separate yarn, join corners of yoke at underarm with Ch 4. Fasten off.
Body. Row 1. Pick up main yarn, ch 3, * sk one st, dc in next, ch 1, (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc---shell) in next, ch 1, dc in next, repeat from * across, ending --sk 1, dc in last st, ch 1, turn.
Row 2. Sc in end dc, FrK in each space and sc in each dc across, ch 3, turn.
Row 3. Sk 1 sc and 1 FrK, dc in next sc, ch 1, shell in next sc, ch 1, dc in next sc, * sk (FrK, 2 sc, FrK) dc in next sc, ch 1, shell in next sc, ch 1, dc in next sc, repeat from *.
Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until work measures 5 1/2 inches below yoke, ending with Row 2. Fasten off.
Sleeve. Join yarn at underarm, ch 3, set on pattern as for Row 1 of body (7 shell groups), join last dc to top of ch 3, ch 1, turn.
Work in pattern (Rows 2 & 3 of body), until sleeve measures 5 1/2 inches, ending with Row 2.
Cuff. Row 1. Dc in each sc around, join, ch 1, turn.
Row 2. * Sc in first dc, FrK in next, repeat from * around, join, ch 4, turn.
Row 3. * Dc in next sc, ch 1, repeat around, join, ch 1, turn.
Row 4. Same as Row 2. Fasten off.
Finish neckline and front edges with Row 2, made from wrong side of work. Fasten off.
Bonnet. Ch 6, join in ring.
Row 1. Ch 4, * dc in ring, ch 1, repeat from * 11 times, join to 3rd st of ch 4, ch 1, turn.
Row 2. Sc in each dc, FrK in each sp, join, ch 4, turn.
Row 3. * Dc in next FrK, ch 1, dc in next sc, ch 1, repeat from *, join to 3rd st of ch 4, ch 1, turn.
Row 4. Same as Row 2.
Row 5. * (Dc, ch 1, dc) in next sc, (ch 1, dc in next sc) 3 times, ch 1, repeat from * around, join to 3rd st of ch 4, ch 1, turn.
Row 6. Same as Row 2.
Row 7. * Dc in next sc, ch 1, repeat from *, join to 3rd st of ch 4, ch 2, turn.
Row 8. Same as Row 2
Row 9. Dc in base of ch 4, * ch 1, dc in next sc, ch 1, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next sc, repeat from *, join to 3rd st of ch 4, ch 2, turn.
Row 10. Same as Row 1 of body until there are 10 shell groups, omitting 5 FrKs at back of neck. Repeat rows 2 and 3 of body 5 times, ending with FrK row, and continue FrKs across lower edge, with sc in each sc across neck. Fasten off.
Bootee: Begin with sole and ch 20.
Row 1. 2 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next 15, 5 dc in next, 1 dc in each of next 15, 2 dc in last, join to top of 3 ch.
Row 2. Ch 3, 2 dc in each of next 3, 1 dc in each of next 13, 2 dc in each of next 7, 1 dc in each of next 13, 2 dc in each of next 3, 1 dc in same st as 3 ch, join.
Row 3. Ch 3, (1 dc in next, 2 dc in next) 3 times, 1 dc in each of next 14. (2 dc in next, 1 dc in next) 7 times, 1 dc in each of next 13, (2 dc in next, 1 dc in next) 3 times, 1 dc in same st as 3 ch, join.
Row 4. Ch 4, * sk 1, dc around post of next dc, inserting hook from back, right to left, ch 1 *, repeat around, join to 3rd st of ch 4, ch 1, turn.
Rows 5, 6, 7, and 8. Same as Rows 2 and 3 of yoke. Fasten off.
Instep. With toe of shoe toward you, join yarn in 14th dc from center back on left side of shoe. Ch 4, make 7 meshes across toe, ch 1, turn. Make a FrK row across and repeat these 2 rows until 3 rows of FrKs and 4 rows of meshes. Join st on hook in 8th dc from center back on right side of shoe, sc instep and shoe together around toe, ending in 8th dc from back on left side.
Beading. Ch 4, make 1 row meshes aacross instep and around shoe, join last ch 1 to 3rd st of ch 4.
Top. Row 1. Ch 4, sk 1 st, * dc in next, sk 1, shell in next, sk 1, dc in next * sk 1, repeat * to * once, (sk 3, repeat * to *) around, join to 3rd st of ch 4.
Row 2. FrK row.
Add pattern rows until shoe is height desired. End with FrK row. Fasten off.
