Now In: Welcome to ISeeSpots Farm

Welcome to ISeeSpots Farm.  Our website has experienced a quick growth in size as well as orders.  There are still a number of products that are not online yet.  If you are interested in purchasing a particular item not found on the shopping cart, don't hesitate to call with questions.  Our phone number is toll free at 1 866 YARN FUN in the USA.  The fax line is 336 854-9314.  If we don't answer, we will give you a call back when we return (full-time jobs and farm activities take us away from the phone).

Our large variety of knitting and crochet pattern lines have been strong sellers for many years.  Samples of various pattern lines will become available for viewing at shows and in pictures online.  Look for these as they come available.

We look forward to seeing you at several fiber festivals in 2008.  We are severely curtailing the number of shows attended after much debate over the past several years.  The increased cost of gas and the comments of many customers at far-off events debating travelling 15-20 miles to attend fiber events have helped.

Mary Ellen maintains a full-time job outside the home, is active with her church family, is raising 2 teenagers with her husband, breeds Shetland sheep, flocks of American Buff Geese and Ancona ducks, and a flock of chickens.  We are even trying a few turkeys out this year to make sure they will fit into the program well.

Another very important activity around the farm involves our family's work with the Carolinas Great Pyrenees Rescue.  We test, work with, and study the Great Pyrs thought to be potential working dogs.  The dogs come and live with our animals and on the farm to find out how they work, what they enjoy, and if they are even safe around various types of animals.  By the time they are placed in their forever homes, we have a pretty good indication as to their behaviors, and what their owners should expect from them.  We are always learning more, and sometimes we get surprised.  Most of the time, the surprises are good and the placements are about as close to perfection as we can find.
