Now In: Welcome to ISeeSpots Farm

Welcome to ISeeSpots Farm.

Our website has experienced a quick growth in size as well as orders.  There are still a number of products that are not online yet.  If you are interested in purchasing a particular item not found on the shopping cart, don't hesitate to call with questions.  Our phone number is toll free at 1 866 YARN FUN in the USA.  The fax line is 336 854-9314.  If we don't answer, we will give you a call back when we return (full-time jobs and farm activities take us away from the phone).

Our large variety of knitting and crochet pattern lines have been strong sellers for many years.  Samples of various pattern lines will become available for viewing at shows and in pictures online.  Look for these as they come available.

We will be attending very few fiber festivals in 2009 as the business moves toward primarily online sales.  The decision in late 2007 to modify the business appears to have been wise.

Mary Ellen maintains a full-time job outside the home, is active with her church family, is raising 2 teenagers with her husband, owns Shetland sheep, cashmere and angora goats, flocks of American Buff Geese, Ancona ducks, and Buff Orpington chickens.  We have even taken on a couple alpacas that were very kindly donated to the Carolinas Great Pyrenees Rescue by Deep River Alpacas.

Another very important activity around the farm involves our family's work with the Carolinas Great Pyrenees Rescue.  We test, work with, and study the Great Pyrs thought to be potential working dogs.  The dogs come and live with our animals and on the farm to find out how they work, what they enjoy, and if they are even safe around various types of animals.  By the time they are placed in their forever homes, we have a pretty good indication as to their behaviors, and what their owners should expect from them.  We are always learning more, and sometimes we get surprised.  Most of the time, the surprises are good and the placements are about as close to perfection as we can find.
