Terrific sock knit with worsted weight wool on size 6 needles.  Highly decorated with stitches afterwards.  Some experience needed with multi-color knitting, but still fast and fun.  You'll need 220 yards black, 10 yards each of 7 other colors and 1 skein of embroidery floss.  Yardages are approximate.
