Knitted-in beads enhance the contours of a simple to knit swirly lace rectangular scarf.  Only 3 different pattern rows produce this lovely design!  The pattern stitch actually covers 19 rows, but the 3 rows of stitches are simply varied in a very specific order.  This scarf pattern is easily adjusted by working more or less stitch and row repeats of the lace pattern.  Scarf measures 11 x 60 inches as blocked with 7 stitches and 8 rows per inch over lace pattern.  Uses 475 yards of fine yarn in the range of 25-30 wraps per inch and 1225 size 8/0 glass seed beads (approx 40 g) or other size beads with holes large enough for yarn to pass through.  Scarf can be knit without the beads as well.
